Job Description: Reporting to the Inside Sales Director, the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will drive lead generation for GoldenGate primarily focusing on acquisition of new accounts. Pursuit and qualification of inbound leads, plus heavy outbound cold call activities are the key responsibilities of the ISR role. The ISR is a headquarters sales role with initial territories focusing on the US and Canada. Key Responsibilities: Make daily outbound cold calls to prospects ranging from the Global 1000 to mid-size companies (50+ calls per day) Follow-up on inbound leads generated by various marketing activities Find & create 2+ net-new opportunities per week Probe prospects to uncover needs, handle objections, and advance the sales process Present products and services using a consultative selling approach Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly goal attainment reports Work with the marketing team to implement integrated outbound sales & marketing campaigns Work closely with Field Sales Reps and designated partners/resellers within the designated region Conduct research to gather company information and create new leads Update and maintain the sales automation database Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years sales experience with enterprise software solutions 3+ years sales experience calling on C-level executives Demonstrated success in prosecuting and closing deals for enterprise software solutions Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals Solid understanding of B2B sales and lead generation process Highly motivated, bright, self-starter with results-driven sales oriented attitude Excellent oral and written communication skills Highly disciplined with excellent organizational skills Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of GoldenGate products and technologies, competitive products and technologies and industry trends Demonstrated success in generating qualified leads for enterprise software solutions 2+ years experience using Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM solutions Intermediate skills in MS Word and MS Excel Bachelor’s Degree or above Compensation: GoldenGate Software offers a competitive base salary and commission package in addition to a comprehensive benefits package and stock options.
